Sharni Vinson

Sharni was born and raised in NSW (Australia) within the Cronulla suburb in Sydney's southern coast. She took part at the National Level of Swimming as teenager, and was the holder of four State records through her time in high school. Sharni was able to sing, dance and acting at an early age, becoming the 3rd generation of performers in her family. Sharni's mother was a performer in the musical theater and her grandmother, the country's youngest ballerina from 1945, received an opportunity to study at the Borovansky Ballet Company. At the age of 12 Sharni enrolled as a student in the Brent Street School of Performing Arts in Sydney in which she was instructed on all aspects of dance over the next 10 years. at the age of 17, following her graduation from high school, Sharni was signed to Roadshow Music Australia as a member of the all girl pop group "Foxfire IV" The group's debut single "Roses" reached the top 50 in Australia's ARIA charts.
